SEO SPECIALIST
We are seeking a talented expert SEO Specialist to grow our fast-paced company.
Metavurx Studios is an Animation and Game Development studio dedicated to pushing the boundaries of creativity, fostering innovation, and setting new benchmarks of excellence, especially within the AAA game production and entertainment industry.
The SEO Specialist will create and implement search engine optimization recommendations and be an expert in Technical SEO. Collaborating with teammates to ensure everything aligns with other departments' strategies.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide onsite optimization services related to page titles, URLs, structured data, meta descriptions, redirects, internal link structures, SEO copy editing, and sitemaps review/maintenance.
- Provide technical SEO services, including site audits, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and recommendations on web page structure as it relates to SEO.
- Perform keyword research and competitive analysis.
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
- Develop and implement a link-building strategy.
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
REQUIREMENTS
- Several years of hands-on technical SEO.
- Proficient in digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Knowledge of multiple CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
- Experience in reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Google Analytics/Console, Bing Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, AHREF).
- Clear communication skills in all expected channels (e.g., verbal, email, in-person).
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
- Santa Rosa City, Laguna: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
- 9-hour shift (including lunch break); Day shift, Monday to Friday.
