We use state-of-the-art technology to record an actor’s actions and convert them into remarkably realistic digital figures. Using the Movella Xsens, we created a motion capture animation from an actor dancing for our most recent reel. The Process of Creating a Motion Capture Animation
Creating the motion capture animation begins with us setting up a simple space for our actor’s stage for his performance of the dance routine while wearing the Movella Xsens suit. Real-time tracking of our actor’s movements is possible by sensors have built into the suit.
These sensors record the actor’s body’s position, orientation, and specific body part movements. We processed and utilized the data captured to create a digital character. To guarantee that the animation is as lifelike as possible, our animators meticulously review the recorded data and make minimal to almost no edits which the finished animation is incorporated into our reel.
The Final Animation
The final animation we developed with Unreal Engine 5 and Movella Xsens is a fantastic example of the capabilities of motion capture technology. This reel also shows you how portable and straightforward it is to use Xsens with just a simple space. The character moves realistically with authenticity, reflecting all the details of our actor’s performance.
